Your cerermony need not be religious (It need not have a denomination ie Catholic, Methodist, Protestant, Hindu, Muslim etc)
But it can reflect your own spirituality or personal beliefs about life. It can also include religion if you wish it to. For example if you have a different religion
to your fiance, aspects of both can be included. If you simply wish to include references to nature for example, or the sea, I would regard that as your personal spirituality.
My ceremonies are about you, they do not reflect my beliefs. I am an ordained Minister, which means I take my service to the spirituality and beliefs of each person very seriously, and I
am always inspired by ceremonies which reflect the hopes and wishes of the participants.
I offer a choice of standard or individually crafted ceremonies
Standard Traditional Ceremonies, Celtic Hand Fasting Ceremonies,
Unity Candle Ceremonies, Sand Ceremonies and more..
A-Individually crafted ceremonies are totally guided by you, with me holding the crucial points together for you and directing your progress. We would do this with Skype or phone calls and emails. Sometimes only one call is needed and sometimes a few, as ideas unfold, such as your personal vows, addition of new ideas etc.
B-Standard ceremonies only require you to add readings of your choice, or from my suggestions, possibly also a phone or Skype call for adaptations. My fees reflect these differences, as obviously the individually crafted ceremonies require more of my time and focus. Please CONTACT ME for a suggestion to suit your individual wedding finances.
I create or provide music for ceremonies, when required. And also music for your wedding party, or cocktails/wine. This can range from unaccompanied flute, Irish whistle (standard or Low D) or vocal to “An Anú” (see below)
I sing classical, Irish, Soul, Blues and world musical genres, either solo or with “An Anú” (see below)
An Anú – World/Celtic Musical Duo: Original and Traditional, Irish and World Music
As well as my seminary training, I have a degree from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), London University (BA Mus Hons) in Ethnomusicology; the study of music and it’s functions and applications in many different cultures and traditions including religious/spiritual ceremonies and traditional shamanism. I play flute, Irish whistles, Bodhran, West African Kora, Darbuka, guitar and keyboard.

Wedding ceremonies form a large part of my work, these can include Standard Traditional Ceremonies, Celtic Hand Fasting Ceremonies, Unity Candle Ceremonies, Sand Ceremonies and more.
Ceremonies can also include influences from Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Pagan/Earth religions, or just your own personal beliefs. The choice is entirely personal and tailored to your choices. View my specialized weddings website www.weddingceremoniesireland.com.
Music is an important part of my work and can be included in my ceremonies. I was the musical director of “Sonke!”, a multi cultural community choir based in Galway, with whom I still have strong links, specialising in traditional and world song.
I also trained with Maggie Jones, one of the UK’s top trance mediums, platform mediums and spiritual healers. I am a trained Reiki practitioner and Mental Colour Therapist, having studied at The Maitreya School of Healing in London.

This testimonial mentions my ceremony and Liam, the musician I often work with. The ceremony took place at the Connemara Coast Hotel, County Glalway July 2015
Thanks so much Helen and Liam for making our day so special. Everyone was so impressed with the ceremony and the music … song for Ireland was a huge success!!!…very moving for our guests looking out at the Atlantic Ocean.
Sorry I didn’t get to talk to Liam properly in between all the action … we’ll have to come and see you play again some time…
Our very best wishes.
Manuela and Liam
This testimonial is from an American couple, courtney and Joshua Moskow who married at Dromoland Castle in County Clare Oct 2015
My husband and I planned an international wedding from the United States. Our biggest obstacle of planning the wedding from abroad was finding an Interfaith Minister to legally marry us in Ireland. We had waited nearly 8 months and right when we had lost hope, our wonderful wedding planner came across Rev Helen Webb and her background. It seemed too good to be true as my husband and I were coming from different faith backgrounds, we were hoping to get married outside of the church and we wanted to use a unique format that encompassed many different religious and spiritual beliefs. Upon meeting and speaking with Helen, we knew we had found the perfect person. She was attentive and inquisitive in wanting to know more about our backgrounds. Helen genuinely cared and invested time into wanting to know who we were as individuals and as a couple. She supported our ideas and provided us guidance encompassing her own thoughts and suggestions which we truly appreciated.
Even though we were worlds away from Helen she always set time aside to take conference and skype calls regularly to go over all of our questions. She unknowingly provided comfort during a stressful time as from the very beginning I felt a connection and had full faith that she would provide us with truly a spectacular ceremony. Throughout the months of having the privilege of working with Helen, we created the most perfect ceremony for our day. Our guests still rave about how beautiful, heartfelt, and special it was to witness our ceremony. If it wasn’t for Helen we wouldn’t have the end results we have today. We’re so eternally grateful that our paths crossed and that we were able to have had her lead our ceremony. Thank you Helen for being open and willing to listen to what was important to us. In a world full of so many restrictions and limitations it was wonderful to have had you be our vessel of love, openness and understanding. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your efforts into making our wedding the best day of our lives.
