I am based in Meath and work as an Interfaith Minister throughout Ireland.
I worked for 30 years in Health Services within a wide range of both clinical and managerial roles, with specific focus on service, improvement, strategic development and governance.
As a teenager I started my exploration of the various faith traditions and religious beliefs of the world, as well as Shamanic and Indigenous Earth based spiritualities and traditions. I have always had a deep interest in the human condition and the role of Spirituality within our day to day lives. I acknowledge and respect the role which organised religion plays in many people’s lives but equally respect those who do not subscribe to any religious beliefs or practices and who have their own understanding and beliefs independent of religion.
I am married over 30 years and have two grown up sons. I love reading and write a little poetry from time to time. I love nature, hiking and walking.
I feel blessed in my life given the many privileges my various professional roles have enabled me to have -for example: – as a Midwife bringing new life into the world in delivering a new-born baby; As a nurse, caring for young and older ill individuals along the life cycle continuum; And especially the privilege of accompanying and supporting people and their families on their end of life journey.
I am deeply grateful that thegift of privilege continues in my role and service as an Interfaith Minister, in creating ceremonies for major life milestones and in being a legal marriage solemniser.
